Core construction and splicing techniques and cover material choices must all be optimized. Inconsistent tensioning, poor core braiding, or inadequate finishing severely impact performance. Even using a Dyneema® core, a second-tier rope manufacturer can produce an inferior product. Accreditations
We rigorously perform multiple tests on our fiber to make sure it is safe and reliable for use in sailing lines. Dyneema® SK78 fiber has an Approval of Manufacturing Certificate by DNV, and Type Approvals by Bureau Veritas and ABS.
Our service lifetime tests and models are DNV-approved, so we can guarantee the quality of our fibers and accurately predict the service life of ropes made with Dyneema®.
